Met with Merri at the gym and we headed outside. Ran 1 mile warm up than we did a 5 mile tempo at 7:16 pace. That was pushing it for me but my legs felt great after! We then did 1 mile cool down and went in and did shoulders and core and then I did 2 more on the treadmill at an easy pace. I got frost bite on my shin from icing it on Saturday night. I am usually pretty aware and I only ice for a total of 20 min and not a minute more but I was watching a documentary on tv and lost track of time and decided it really shouldn't matter much. But it did. It feels like a burn. I am sure it is just the very outer layer of tissue but it hurts enough that I probably won't do that again. Ha ha kind of funny though! I never thought I would get frost bite.
